Exhibition: Ben ik mannelijk?

Dutch designer Tim van den Heuvel, founder of HILLZ, is currently featured in an exhibition at the Noordbrabants Museum with the conceptual work “The First Potato”, part of the project Table Hierarchy – The Concept. The piece explores themes of value, hierarchy and perception, translating everyday symbolism into a sculptural narrative between conceptual art and experimental fashion design. Through material, form and context, the work questions how objects gain meaning within cultural systems. The First Potato is on view at the Noordbrabants Museum until June 14, 2026 , presenting the intersection of contemporary fashion, design and conceptual thinking within the museum space.

A new chapter unfolds — where accessories become extensions of the self. In the image, gloved hands rise like sculptural forms, presenting the Nostalgic Overgrown Beanie as an emblem of identity. The marbled texture, the torn edge, the stitched HILLZ emblem — each detail carries the language of transformation.
