HILLZ: The first Potato
The First Potato unfolds within a stilled table setting. Surrounded by fabric, light and shadow reflecting on a north Brabant kitchen with the rising morning sun set in a dew landscape. The dining table- site of labour, hierarchy, and silence- stands at the centre.
Chairs are empty or turned away; the body is present as an imprint, as tension.....
Gilded and stiffened workwear forms an armour around a figure struggling to break free, while lingerie introduces vulnerabillity and tenderness.
The potato appears fragmented: as residue, as necessity. The space breathes heritage, labour, and time a place where roles are passed on, fixed in place, and slowly begin to fracture.
Story to be continued.....
Bound by design. Freed by form.
The new HILLZ collection explores tension as beauty — wrapping the body in lines that both restrain and release. Each garment reveals the architecture of movement, sculpted from structured softness and industrial precision.
Futuristic yet human, dystopian yet alive — this is apparel as armor, emotion as texture.
HILLZ blurs what is functional, ornamental, and personal — crafting a world where clothing breathes with intention.
Made with honesty in the Netherlands.
A new chapter unfolds — where accessories become extensions of the self.
In the image, gloved hands rise like sculptural forms, presenting the Nostalgic Overgrown Beanie as an emblem of identity. The marbled texture, the torn edge, the stitched HILLZ emblem — each detail carries the language of transformation.
For the first time, HILLZ introduces a collection of accessories that complete the silhouette. Layers that wrap, reveal, and redefine. Made in the Netherlands with honesty and intention.
These are not additions — they are continuations.
Fragments of fabric that speak, move, and come alive.
