Inspired by moments that shape us—weddings, childhood, the familiar terrain of home—this design reflects Tim van den Heuvel’s fascination with how memory dissolves not suddenly, but slowly, like rust creeping through lace.

It is in this tension between permanence and impermanence that beauty emerges. Lace patterns float like delicate fossils across a corroded surface, as if time itself has etched its signature into the fabric. The rust is not ruin—it is remembrance. A warm decay that holds history gently.
